Introduction to Warehouse

Sub-Title:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Warehouse standard 29 CFR 1910.302 applies to warehouse operations and safe working environments.

Warehousing is described as “A planned space for the efficient storage, handling, control, and distribution of goods and materials”. The warehouse industry is a busy, fast-paced, and labor-intensive line of work.

Who Needs this Training? 

All workers who work in a warehouse setting or perform job tasks at a warehouse should use this training to be aware of warehouse hazards and how to safely work in one.  


Dangers of Remaining Uncertified

All employees who remain untrained are at risk of minor to serious injuries on the job. Heavy boxes of materials, lifting, stacking, etc. can cause serious injuries if workers are not careful or trained in the proper way of handling materials in a warehouse.
