Asbestos Awareness 2-hour
Asbestos is a mineral fiber that has been used in a variety of building construction materials for insulation and as a fire retardant. Asbestos fibers may be released into the air by the disturbance of asbestos-containing material during product use, demolition work, building or home maintenance, repair, and remodeling.

Who Needs this Training?
The employer must train each employee who is likely to be exposed more than a PEL, and each employee who performs class I through class IV asbestos operations.
Dangers of Remaining Uncertified
By remaining uncertified workers increase their exposure to asbestos danger by being unaware of safety precautions.

Recertification
