The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) General Industry Standard, 1910, and the Construction standard, 1926, both apply to the landscaping industry.
Landscaping offers several services to customers. Services can include soil preparation, irrigation systems, shrub trimming, lawn mowing, lawn planting, and arborist services like tree trimming.

All workers who work in the landscaping industry must undergo this training to stay safe on the job.
All employees who remain untrained are at risk of minor to serious injuries on the job. The landscaping industry uses hazardous tools and equipment as well as several chemicals that have the potential to cause harm if not used correctly.
